The USBLREO operates as an independent federal oversight entity tasked with investigating violations of labor ethics, retaliatory behavior, whistleblower suppression, and unlawful contractor misclassification. All correspondence, filings, case notifications, and review decisions issued by USBLREO are executed under investigatory and compliance authority in accordance with joint statutes derived from federal labor protocols.
Any attempt to obstruct, falsify, intimidate, or retaliate against a party cooperating with USBLREO’s review process may be considered a federal violation under whistleblower protection statutes and labor retaliation codes including, but not limited to, Labor Code §1102.5, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act.
Confidentiality
All submissions to USBLREO, including anonymous filings, complaint forms, declarations, and evidence uploads are protected by internal confidentiality protocol and handled under attorney-client privilege when applicable. USBLREO does not disclose personal or identifying information to third parties without express legal requirement, subpoena, or prior consent of the protected party.
False Reporting & Misuse
Knowingly submitting falsified or misleading information to USBLREO constitutes an interference with a federal review process and may result in civil or criminal penalties under 18 U.S.C. § 1001.
